The members play the usual dinner, sleeping, and morning bokbulboks, and battle Joon Young 5:1.
Planning and Direction: 5
Sort of a mixed bag this week, as the some of the ideas seemed pretty good (JJY vs members, staff cooks dinner, flag collection race to go home early) but was let down by the direction at times (Allowing a lot of do-overs, the food not being that bad, and having no point to the morning game, respectively). Overall it was a very average episode with no real surprises or memorable moments.
Still a bit better than most variety shows, but slightly lower than usual 1n2d standards. There wasn’t much need for creative filming or editing this week, and the music was much more generic than usual.

Cha Tae Hyun: 6
One of the few members that didn’t seem exhausted, Tae Hyun contributed well to the 5 vs 1 and flag finding segments and was generally his usual energetic self.
Kim Jong Min: 4
Seemed to sleepwalk through much of the episode, and didn’t really get much of anything done.
Kim Joo Hyuk: 5
Was decent during the 5 vs 1 challenge as he seemed to want to actually win it, but was basically a non-participant in the morning segment (although his reaction to the twist was pretty good).
Kim Jun Ho: 5
Not a great performance from Jun Ho, who seemed tired out and didn’t put too much effort into his gags. Still, he was reasonably talkative and at least seemed to be paying attention most of the time.
Participated reasonably well, but really didn’t have a lot to offer this week. It’s a bit of a concern that Defconn seems to becoming more lost as to what to do compared to the start of the season, while everyone else has been improving.
Jung Joon Young: 5
Seemed pretty out of it for most of the episode, and just went through the motions without adding much extra effort. However, he got saved somewhat by having an entire segment based around him where just trying to win the game without being funny actually worked in his favor.
Episode MVP: Cha Tae Hyun
The only member who consistently seemed to working hard, Tae Hyun was energetic during the games and actively kept the members and staff engaged with his chatter.
Final Score: 5
Oddly enough, last week’s bizarre scripted episode was followed by a very, very typical one. Nothing much to see here as it was basically just playing the games, but nothing really wrong with the episode either. It feels like it could have been better, but was let down by tired members and somewhat loose direction. Very average in the end.
