The members and teachers play some games in Geojedo.
Planning and Direction: 5
Compared to last week’s episode, this week’s installment was much more basic in concept and form. Really, it was just playing some bokbulboks, which weren’t terrible but didn’t really light the world on fire either. Editing was pretty good, but the long run-time made it a bit difficult to sit through in one try.
Good as usual, with very sharp HD visuals and the usual high quality graphics and sound effects. The music was just average by 1N2D standards.
Golden Stills – High and Wide
Yim Jae Beom – Stigma
The Heavy – What Makes a Good Man?
Quiet Riot – Cum On Feel the Noize
Van Halen – Jump
Telekinesis – Ghosts and Creatures
Kim Min Kyo – Last Game
Europe – The Final Countdown
Sistar – Loving You
Sung Si Kyung – the Road Toward Me
Joa Band – Only Look At Me
Teacher’s Grace (Traditional)
Tearliner – Coffeehyang Seorlaeim
Biuret – Dreams Come True
Cha Tae Hyun: 5
Tae Hyun was OK this week, but much less interactive than in part one. He had some good reactions during the sleeping arrangements twist, but was otherwise pretty average.
Kim Jong Min: 5
Jong Min seemed to try to work with his guest more than some of the others, but got mixed results as the while the ‘mad dog’ teacher’s personality was inherently funny, he wasn’t the most variety-gifted guest in history.
Kim Joo Hyuk: 5
Did well to add some drama to the chin-up segment, but struggled to get screen time this week, as his partner had the personality of a cabbage.
Kim Jun Ho: 6
Nothing really hilarious from Jun Ho in this one, but he tried to work a bit with his partner and also tried the hardest to be funny during the games, and was clearly the most active fixed member throughout.
Yikes…had a bit of a dud partner but really did not do anything n this episode.
Jung Joon Young: 5
Seemed tired out during the night/morning shoots once again, although he worked hard during the games he didn’t really do a lot to add much in the way of entertainment, except when tricking Jong Min out of his pick during the sleeping arrangement draw.
Sistar, who did nothing, and the same teachers from last week. A bit disappointing as Sistar have enough variety experience to contribute at least a little bit more than ….sitting. The teachers were by and large pretty boring and the members never seemed to get over the awkwardness of working with them outside of a few instances.
Episode MVP: Kim Jun Ho
His gags may have been a bit hit and miss, but he was the only member consistently trying to entertain during the bokbulboks, and even tried to work with his cold fish teacher partner (the bedtime jokes, making him take his shirt off every time, etc).
Final Score: 4
Not a lot was really wrong with this episode, but unfortunately the teacher guests were either boring, or paired with the wrong members. It seems the cast decided to try to pair the less funny guests with the funniest or most experienced members and vice versa, but it sort of didn’t really work out. The episode might have been OK at 75-80 minutes length, but the 100 minutes given were just too much and the show dragged as a result.
