The members tour Jeollanam-do, and compete for the chance to eat various local dishes.
Planning and Direction: 4
The basic premise for the episode was OK, but it quickly became repetitive and the games were not especially interesting or entertaining.
Typical solid KBS production.
Cranberries – “Ode to My Family”
John Williams – “Jaws Theme”
Cha Tae Hyun: 5
Showed some good reactions as always, but otherwise didn’t contribute a great deal.
Kim Jong Min: 4
Jong Min seemed at a loss to find much to do this week.
Kim Joo Hyuk: 4
Joo Hyuk tried to be funny this week, but was a bit awkward and overreaching at times.
Kim Jun Ho: 6
Once again, Jun Ho led the way in terms of providing entertainment. Nothing great, but a good solid variety performance.
Defconn was a bit up and down this week, as he was pretty good in some segments but just taking up space in others.
Jung Joon Young: 6
Along with Jun Ho, Joon Young led the way in entertainment for this episode. While he’s still inconsistent from week to week, he has enough natural ability that he could be quite good once he’s more polished.
None, other than some KBS staff and various citizens (including one with the actual name of Kang Nam Gu).
Episode MVP: Kim Jun Ho
This week’s MVP was between Joon Young and Jun Ho, who both had good moments. However, Jun Ho was a bit more active and more polished in terms of providing comedy that allows others to join in as opposed to only being funny himself.
Final Score: 4
While there were a handful of decent moments, the overall episode was weak due to its repetitive structure and so-so member performances.
