Infinite Challenge 362 – Introducing My Lonely Friends Part 3
The lonely friends party reaches its conclusion.
Planning and Direction: 5
A bit weaker than last week, most of the segments were fine but none were particularly interesting, particularly the note giving which was cut a lot but still managed to be boring. Despite the planning around the party, the ad-hoc segment at the very end with the phone calls may have been the best of the show.
Good (if somewhat basic) captions and graphics this week.
Yoo Jae Suk : 6
Again this week Jae Suk was also in a strictly MC role, and again he did well at managing the interactions. His bits with Sang Ryul were also a highlight of the episode.
Park Myung Soo: 5
Myung Soo started out well but faded into the background as the show wore on.
Jung Jun Ha: 5
Similar to last week, Jun Ha got outpaced by the quicker-witted comedians, but still did enough to stay visible for most of the episode.
Jung Hyung Don: 6
Hyung Don was lively and assisted Jae Suk in keeping the flow of the party going.
Ha Ha: 4
This week’s ‘invisible man’, Ha Ha didn’t get much screen time and didn’t do much with the time he had.
No Hong Chul: 4
Compared to the first part of the party (last week’s ep), Hong Chul was a non-factor for most of this episode.
Gil got a bit more time this week, especially during the auction segment. He didn’t do anything magical but did well enough with his reactions and had a good joke at the end, at Jun Ha’s expense.
Same as last week, including Ji Sang Ryul, Kim Young Chul, Ahn Young Mi, Park Hui Soon, Yang Pyung, Narsha, SNSD Sunny, Daesung, Kim Na Young, Kim Jae Dong, Shin Sung Woo, Ryu Seung Soo, and Jin Goo.
Sang Ryul was the definite MVP of the guests this week, and actually outperformed most of the IC cast from beginning to end. Personally I had always felt Sang Ryul would be one of the best possible additions to the MD team, so hopefully this good performance will result in more appearances. Yang Pyung was pretty good again as well. The actors were also better this week than last, while Young Mi and Na Young disappeared after making good contributions in last week’s episode.
Episode MVP: Yoo Jae Suk
Final Score: 5
Not bad, but nothing special. This was pretty much the epitome of a mediocre Infinite Challenge episode.
